Video on X is delivered as MP4 in several resolutions. When you pick a row here, your browser downloads that exact file. There is no intermediate step where a server decodes and re-encodes it, which is why the result is identical to what the timeline plays and why it arrives as fast as your connection allows.

Take the largest. Every later export compounds compression, so start with the most detail you can get.

The file carries a plain name based on the account and the resolution, so a folder of them stays sortable. Rename freely — nothing about the file depends on its name.
