Drop the link to any public post and this page lists the video files behind it — usually one entry per resolution, with the file size so you can pick before you commit to the download.
Nothing is re-encoded. You get the same files the timeline plays, which means no quality loss and no waiting on a conversion queue.

A post's video is stored as a set of pre-made variants. A clip filmed on a recent phone commonly has 1280×720 and 640×360 versions; something uploaded from a desktop editor may go up to 1920×1080. We surface whichever ones exist and label each with its resolution and size — we never list a 1080p button for a post that has no 1080p file.
Alongside the video you will also see the audio track on its own. That is useful when the clip is a podcast excerpt or a live set and the picture is incidental.
A screen recording re-encodes what your display shows, at your display's resolution and frame rate. Downloading the source file skips that entirely.
You get the file as uploaded, without a play button burned into the first frame or a border added by a recorder app.
Screen recorders on phones routinely drift a frame or two. The source file does not.
A short clip resolves in a second or two, which is quicker than setting up a recording and trimming it afterwards.
Only publicly readable posts can be processed. If an account is protected, its posts are only visible to approved followers, so there is no public file to fetch — this tool is not a way around that, and it will tell you plainly rather than fail silently.
Deleted posts are gone for good; nothing can recover them. Age-restricted posts need a signed-in, verified session that this tool deliberately does not have. And a post with only text, a poll or a link preview has nothing attached to download.
